NO ONE COULD REACH HER
Twelve-year-old Helen Keller lived in a prison of silence and darkness. Born deaf, blind, and mute, with no way to express herself or comprehend those around her, she flew into primal rages against anyone who tried to help her, fighting tooth and nail with a strength born of furious, unknowing desperation.
Then Annie Sullivan came. Half-blind herself, but possessing an almost fanatical determination, she would begin a frightening and incredibly moving struggle to tame the wild girl no one could reach, and bring Helen into the world at last....
Great play, horrible e-book
I purchased this e-book edition, because a student I tutor is reading the play at school. A week after purchasing this e-book copy, I realized that all the character's names are cut off in the margins, therefore it is very difficult to tell which characters are saying the lines in the play. I tried making the font smaller, and even changing the font, but the names are still cut off. This makes the e-book useless. E-book publishers need to stop doing a half effort job when editing e-book titles. As a consumer, I paid for this book, and I do not expect words to be cut off the pages. I want my money back, or I would like the editors to update this e-book so that I can actually read who is saying which line. Put some effort into your editing!!!!!!!
Great Book!
